The trustees of Timothy Lutheran Church (TLC) in Woodstock were excited to get an unexpected windfall from the Christian movie “A Walking Miracle” filmed in Georgia. While looking for a location to shoot a pivotal action sequence, one of the directors came across TLC and its expansive unused side lot that featured a hill, perfect for the production’s needs.
It was an exciting four days for the congregation as they watched from the sidelines, culminating in the filming of a car rolling down a hill.
“Our congregation was happy to support a Christian film production and it was fun to watch,” said Michael Lawson, Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees at TLC. “And the $1,000 donation will help build a much-needed storage building that we use in service of our church and preschool.”
